Local Investment Boards

The role of Local Investment Boards

An important part of DRIVE is our partnership with Local Investment Boards (LIBs).

LIBs are groups of business professionals. They live and work in Norfolk and Suffolk's rural communities.

LIBs review how your project could add value to the rural economy and its communities.

How it works

A Business Mentor produces a concept plan for an applicant and submits it to a Local Investment Board for review. The Business Mentor will feedback all comments to the applicant.

The applicant will write and submit an application. A Finance and Appraisal Officer will appraise the application and present this to a LIB at a scheduled Board Meeting for a final decision.
